As a globetrotting fashion photographer and award-winning photojournalist, Wolfgang Freithof enjoyed a 30+ year career, working with a veritable who’s who of the fashion world. After photographing iconic fashion models like Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell, Iman, and Veronica Webb, Wolfgang turned his camera towards a different kind of beauty – newlywed bliss.
Today, Wolfgang is one of New York City’s premier wedding photographers. Alongside long-time business partner Chiaki Sato, he is the owner-operator of the award-winning A Day of Bliss photography studio. He brings his trademarked professionalism, creativity, and artistic vision to every shoot, channeling the immeasurable expertise that has graced the pages of Vogue into your special day. Among Wolfgang’s many career achievements, being the official photographer at Robert Duvall’s tango-themed wedding in Buenos Aires, Argentina ranks amongst his favorites.
When he is not busy providing award-winning wedding photography services, Wolfgang has photographed for the New York City Opera, J.P. Morgan Chase, Sony, Deborah Norville of Inside Edition, Chaka Khan, and countless other professional and celebrity clients. He is fluent in English and German but is most comfortable communicating through breathtaking still photography.
