Museum Mile Engagement Shoot

This couple had a very eclectic taste and a strong vision about the style and ambiance they wanted for their New York engagement photos. We arranged to meet just before sunrise at the Metropolitan Museum of Art so we could capture those first golden moments of the sun ascending over Fifth Avenue, and before the daily crowds start to clutter the steps of the museum.

Strolling along Fifth Ave., we used the historic Mansions as the backdrop for their loving portraits. Their stylist arrived shortly thereafter, accompanied by their sweet pet, who accompanied them along the Museum Mile. The iconic architecture along the avenue were perfectly in tune with the couple’s classic style. The look they chose was timeless, elegant, and quite formal, though there was a sincere softness in the way they interacted that spoke volumes about their love and affection for each other. When you see the photos, you can almost feel their excitement and share in their romance.
