Long Island engagement photos – Brittany & Michael pictures
Brittany and Michael had initially planned to marry at this Long Island Gold Coast historical spot, but as the size of the event grew, it was no longer possible to have their wedding at this location. Not wanting to give up this cherished setting so easily, we decided to stage their pre-wedding photoshoot there to capture some unforgettable memories for them.
Both of the couple’s families were from European backgrounds, which is what initially drew them to the Vanderbilt Mansion and its old country charm. From its stunning views of the Long Island Sound to the iconic Rose Garden, its remarkable ironwork, Spanish Revival architectural details, and sprawling grounds woven with early springtime flora, the day was as romantic as you can imagine. Wandering the grounds while taking these Long Island engagement photos was awe-inspiring, transporting us to ages past, a time out of time, so representative of two old souls in love.
The couple and their undeniable affection meshed perfectly with archways and stone details throughout the property. The juxtaposition of classical design and timeless love is always a perfect combination. it is almost as if Brittany and Michael were chosen specifically for that purpose – to exemplify love, romance, and nature in all its glory, as one concept that is greater than the sum of its parts.
While the wedding was yet to take place, the couple’s excitement was palpable in every touch, look, and gesture they shared. When you look at their Long Island engagement photos you can spot their hope and desire in those moments, and it’s easy to imagine that they belong there, walking those stone paths as they embrace their eternal promise to each other.
