Maria and Andrew’s beautiful wedding at Solé East in Montauk
The couple decided to celebrate their ceremony at Solé East in Montauk, a fashionable resort at the east end of the Hamptons. It’s on an ideal ground for a romantic wedding celebration. Plus, you can get to Montauk village on foot in 5 minutes.
What strikes the eye about Solé East is that the resort is located inside a building designed in the American Tudor architectural style. The interiors have been completely renovated, and all the rooms of the hotel recall a bungalow on the beach. But there is more: Solé East guests have at their disposal a heated swim pool with Saint Tropez beds, 2.5 acres of lush gardens, and a pit-fire in the green area.
We started our photo shooting session in Maria’s suite, where we took some beautiful photos of her preparation. We particularly enjoyed taking pictures in this room, not just because of its luxurious style, but because the staff already prepared a set of details for the photo session. Part of Maria’s items that completed her beauty look, in fact, were carefully arranged to be photographed.
The cocktail party and the reception were hosted in a gorgeous garden, and the hotel staff prepared a garden bar featuring some field games. They even created a ceremonial tree decorated with chandeliers that emitted warm light. That kind of lighting gave us some ideas for some perfect shots that could narrate what was going on.
Arranging an outdoor wedding is always risky because the weather can be unpleasant, even in the summer. But Maria and Andrew were lucky. A soft rain fell before the ceremony, but it stopped as soon as the groom reached the altar. Plus, Maria, who was smiling in her beautiful gown, made everyone forget about the rain shower, and when the couple joined hands, the guests cheered them with applause.
Maria’s energy revived everyone, and friends and relatives were ready to celebrate love together at Solé East.
