Romantic and Elegant Wedding Portrait Poses

Marriage is the union of two people who love each other and are ready to spend forever with each other. Everyone wants their wedding to be perfect, and from the correct placement of placemats to the last dance of the reception, every fine detail should be perfect and to the bride and groom’s liking. It is a once-in-a-lifetime moment that will be cherished forever. Brides and groom wish to have a wedding that their friends and family will remember in the coming years. Wedding portraits are pieces of photography that mark an excellent marriage conclusion.

Wedding Photography- It is precedent over everything else as it is a picture book of your special. And the photographer and the bride, and the groom should work synergistically to come up with the best portrait. There are many poses in order to achieve the best wedding portraits. Many decades ago, the poses looked plastic. It is impossible to hold a smile in place for long hours, which became distressing for the bride and groom. Today, photography has become more lenient now with the advancement of technology. Even the photographer asks the couple to act naturally and does not think they have a camera focused on them. One should only focus on the merriment and joy the day brings to them.

Moments to be Captured- Some moments will look best photographed; when the bride and groom are getting ready for the event, the father’s first look, groom, the father-daughter dance, and the first dance after becoming miss to Mrs. The wedding day has so many precious moments that are just begging to be captured. Try to take sample photos of yourself with the makeup and hairstyle you opt for your big day. This will let you know how your makeup will look on camera, and you can save yourself from not-so-good pictures.

New York Wedding Photography- New York is one of the best places to have a wedding photo session. One might think that because of the city being crowded, you cannot get a good wedding portrait there but trust us when we say that there are many prime locations available in New York where wedding photography is a must! Some good sites for New York wedding photoshoot and even engagement photo shoots can be seen easily on the internet. Location is an essential aspect of posing.

Choose a location where you have made memories with your loved one. This will help you pose naturally for your wedding portrait with no effort.

But even so, there are some tips.

Tips for Perfect Wedding Portrait

●       Do not think of the camera, and the camera should be invisible to you. Wear those pink goggles on your mind’s eyes and make lots of googly eyes at your husband! Just live in the moment. Smile and laugh or even cry as you do in your normal day-to-day routine. If you start to think about the camera, it will become difficult to enjoy your special day.

●       Hold the arms away from your body. Relax those arms, ladies; it is your wedding day! Do not stand stiffly with your arms pressed against your body.

●       Make each other laugh! That laughter caused by a joke or even some funny anecdote that only the two of you know will look more natural. Gossip with your husband as if he is one of your girls. The sparkle in your eyes cannot be produced.

●       Tell the photographer if you are not comfortable with the pose or have a better idea to make your photo better. You have to tell these things to the photographer; he/she cannot read your mind.

●       One important thing that will result in good photographs is your hair and makeup. Always try to take pictures in your makeup before the wedding. You should remember this tip on your fingertips!

I like to conclude this by saying nothing will produce better photos than when you agree with the photographer. Though they are professional, only you have envisioned what you want your wedding photos to look like. And I cannot stress this enough; act naturally. Enjoy your wedding day and the photography will look good by itself. Basically, your wedding portrait should display the merriment you felt on your special day.
